Catalogue reference GY 12-190-01 — Pederson Speculum Small 75mm x 13mm, supplied to hospitals, distributors, and OEM partners.
Pederson vaginal specula are the narrower, longer variant of the bivalve speculum family — distinguished from the broader Graves and Cusco patterns by their slimmer blade profile (typically 22 mm width versus 35 mm for Graves). Pederson is preferred for examination of nulliparous or postmenopausal patients where the broader speculum is uncomfortable. The narrower blade is also useful in adolescent gynecology and in patients with vaginal atrophy. Lengths of 95 mm and 115 mm are standard. Pederson specula are manufactured in both reusable stainless steel and disposable plastic formats; the steel variant is preferred in office practice for better illumination and reusability.

Sialkot has been the world’s primary cluster for surgical-instrument manufacturing since the late nineteenth century, when local steel workshops began supplying instruments to British military and civilian hospitals. Fizza Surgical’s facility continues that tradition, combining workshop craftsmanship with the metallurgy and quality systems modern medical regulation requires. Fizza products are exhibited at international medical-device trade fairs in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
