Adson Dressing Forceps — 120mm Smooth Jaw
The 120mm Adson is the shorter-handle variant of the Adson family, sized for facial-plastic, ophthalmic, and small-hand operator work. At 120mm overall length, the forceps fits the cosmetic surgeon’s working ergonomics for blepharoplasty closure, fine skin-flap repositioning, and the millimetric tissue handling that distinguishes specialist plastic-surgery work from general-surgical closure. The mm-labeled SKU follows European Union medical-device labelling convention.
The facial-plastic indication
Blepharoplasty — surgery of the eyelid, the most demanding closure technique in cosmetic surgery — requires forceps short enough to work within the orbital margin without the operator’s hand obscuring the operative field. A 14-15cm general-surgical Adson is too long for this work; the 120mm variant is calibrated to the eyelid surgical-field dimensions. Ophthalmology and oculoplastic centres standardise on this length for the same reason.
EU CE labelling
The mm-labeled SKU is exported under EU MDR Class I labelling; the equivalent inch/cm-labeled SKU (DF 03-60-01-01) serves the same product to other markets.
