Barraquer 5.5 cm Blade 7 mm — Standard Cornea Cut
Total-length 5.5 cm with 7 mm cutting blade is the standard Barraquer footprint — sized so that the surgeon’s fingertip is at the cornea while the spring is at the proximal interphalangeal joint. The 7 mm cut depth handles the average corneal thickness comfortably for keratoplasty rim trim, fascia bullosa decompression slit-extension, and partial-thickness graft edge fashioning at the bench.
Standard cornea use
- Keratoplasty rim trim
- Bullous-keratopathy slit
- Bench-graft fashion
5.5 cm total / 7 mm blade Barraquer, AISI 420 stainless. Hand-finished in Sialkot.
