Braun Tenaculum — Vienna Obstetric-Tradition
Karl Braun von Fernwald (1822–1891) Vienna obstetric and gynaecological-surgery chief at Vienna-General-Hospital (Semmelweis-trained advocate-for-hand-washing) designed the Braun tenaculum and developed Braun-cranioclast-and-Braun-decapitator for pre-caesarean-era obstructed-labour management.
