Chadwick Fistula — Boston Gynae Pattern
James Read Chadwick (1844-1905), the Boston gynaecologist whose name attaches to “Chadwick’s sign” of early pregnancy, gave his name to a heavier-shanked fistula scissor designed for tougher fibrous fistula-track tissue. Reference Chadwick handles late-presenting genitourinary-fistula track-resection in obstetric-fistula campaigns, post-radiation-rectal-fistula scarred-track laying-open, and inflammatory-bowel-disease-related complex peri-anal-fistula tougher-track work.
