Collin-Duval Grasping Forceps
The Collin-Duval grasping forceps features a distinctive triangular fenestrated (ring) jaw that grasps tissue atraumatically over a broad area without crushing. Originally designed for lung tissue handling, it is widely used for grasping bowel, bladder, and other hollow viscera where conventional forceps would risk perforation. The ring-handle ratchet mechanism maintains consistent grip pressure.
