The COTTLE chisel is named after Maurice Cottle (1898–1981). Its design is used for rhinoplasty and septal work; used for dorsal hump reduction and lateral osteotomy of the nasal pyramid. Blade 9 mm, overall length 200 mm.
Our version is forged from AISI 420 German-grade stainless, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated to ASTM A967. narrow, guarded or unguarded bevel, designed for precise nasal cortex work under direct vision. Packed individually, laser-marked with our SKU BS 14-325-03 and ready for steam sterilisation at 134 °C / 18 min.
