The VOLKMANN curette is named after Richard von Volkmann (1830–1889, Halle). Its design is used for general bone curettage — cyst evacuation, debridement, loose body removal; the oval-oval double-ended version is the most common pattern on the orthopedic table. Overall length 190 mm.
Our version is forged from AISI 420 German-grade stainless, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated to ASTM A967. Oval or round spoon, sharpened rim, long narrow handle. Packed individually, laser-marked with our SKU BS 14-396-01 and ready for steam sterilisation at 134 °C / 18 min.
