Cottle Nasal Micro 16 cm — Septoplasty Mucoperichondrial Plane
Maurice H. Cottle (1898-1981), Chicago rhinologist and the founding president of the American Rhinologic Society, gave his name to the slim long-shafted scissor for septoplasty work. The 16 cm Cottle nasal micro reaches inside the bilateral mucoperichondrial tunnel for cartilaginous-septum elevation, vomerine-septal-spur sub-mucosal trim, and ethmoid-perpendicular-plate posterior osteotome-prep cut.
