Dubois Straight — French Royal-Accoucheur Pattern
Antoine Dubois (1756-1837), accoucheur to Empress Marie-Louise of Napoleon’s court and dean of the Paris faculty of medicine, lent his name to the long heavy-shaft gynaecological scissor for obstetric and post-partum work.
