Enterotomy Hook — Bowel-Lumen Reference

The hooked-tip enterotomy scissor is the bowel-lumen-opening reference — the hook slides under the antimesenteric border of bowel and lifts a small mucosal-bite for the scissor to cut, preventing accidental traverse of the opposite wall. Reference hook handles ileal-anastomosis primary-bowel-opening for hand-sewn anastomosis, jejunal-loop ileostomy formation lumen-cut, and gastric-bypass jejuno-jejunostomy enterotomy for stapler entry.
