13.5 cm Fomon dissecting is the bench-and-table-side tip-refinement scissor — alar-cartilage scoring for cephalic-rotation, dorsal-onlay-graft trimming during dorsal augmentation, and columellar-strut shaping for tip-projection support. The short blade plus narrow shank fits the nasal corridor of an awake septoplasty under local anaesthesia.
