Designed by Russell Hibbs (1869–1932), this pattern is used for spinal fusion and large joint work; the wider blades in the Hibbs family are used for laminectomy decortication and hip arthroplasty. heavy-duty bevelled edge, octagonal handle, made to take repeated mallet strikes without walking.
Built on our floor in Sialkot from AISI 420 forging blanks, milled to the original German geometry, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated. The instrument carries laser-mark BS 14-262-03, ships with a CE Declaration of Conformity, and is cleared for steam sterilisation at 134 °C.
