Jacobson Straight 16 cm — Microvascular Pioneer Pattern
Julius Jacobson (1927-2024), the New York vascular surgeon who in 1960 performed the first microvascular anastomosis using an operating microscope, lent his name to the long-shaft micro that opened the modern microvascular era. The 16 cm straight Jacobson serves saphenous-vein composite-graft preparation, peroneal-artery free-fibula osteoseptocutaneous flap pedicle clean-up, and AV-fistula brachiocephalic anastomosis bevel trim.
