Jorgenson Lobectomy — Curved Hilar Pattern
The Jorgenson lobectomy pattern has a sharper curve than Finochietto-and-Resano — designed to track around the tightly-curved pulmonary hilum where straighter blades catch on hilar nodes. Reference Jorgenson handles right-middle-lobectomy fissure-incomplete dissection where the curved blade follows the rotation of the middle-lobe pulmonary vein, lingulectomy along the lingular-segment fissure, and superior-segmentectomy at the apex of the lower lobe.
