Kelly Straight 14 cm — Cervical D&C Tenaculum

Howard Atwood Kelly (1858–1943) JHU founding gynaecology chief and inventor of the cystoscope, devised the Kelly hemostat as the workhorse short-curved gynaecologic clamp. The 14 cm Kelly straight is the cervical-D&C-and-pre-tenaculum tier — anterior-lip cervix grasp during fractional dilatation-and-curettage for abnormal-uterine-bleeding workup, post-suction-aspiration retained-products grasp during evacuation of incomplete-miscarriage, and IUD-string retrieval grasp when string is not visible at the external os.
