The 16.5 cm Locklin with serrated lower blade locks slippery oropharyngeal-mucosa in place — uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) soft-palate trim where mucosa retracts, sublingual-gland excision floor-of-mouth mucosal-edge division, and post-irradiation oral-cancer salvage flap-edge cut where tissue elasticity is compromised. Serration on a fine blade.
