Open-reduction internal-fixation, spinal decompression, joint arthroplasty, and open orthopaedic trauma all share a common instrument vocabulary: bone clamps, rongeurs, osteotomes, periosteal elevators, rasps, and the heavy retractor systems that hold soft tissue clear of the working field. Each pattern in the category meets a defined task in the procedure sequence — preserving periosteum, exposing cortex, mobilizing fragments, debriding the surgical field, or shaping the bone for implant seating. The instruments must withstand the mechanical loads of cortical bone work over thousands of procedures, and the metallurgy reflects that demand: hardened tool-grade stainless, TC-reinforced cutting edges, and corrosion-resistant finishes. Fizza manufactures the full bone-surgery range under ISO 13485:2016.

Every instrument is forged, machined, and finished at the Sialkot facility from German-origin stainless billet — austenitic 304 / 316 grades for non-cutting, mucosal-contact, and hollow-ware lines where corrosion resistance is the priority, martensitic 420 / 440 grades for cutting and edge-retention patterns where heat-treatable hardness matters, and 17-4 PH precipitation-hardened stainless for high-load orthopedic and implant-handling applications. Polishing, passivation, and final inspection are performed in-house under documented quality procedures aligned with ISO 13485:2016.
