McIndoe 19 cm — East-Grinstead Burns Pattern
Sir Archibald McIndoe (1900-1960), the New-Zealand-born plastic surgeon at East-Grinstead who founded the “Guinea Pigs Club” for WWII airmen with severe burns, lent his name to a slim-curved scissor for skin-graft and burn-eschar work. The 19 cm McIndoe handles split-thickness-skin-graft donor-edge trim, burn-eschar tangential-excision boundary cut, and contracture-release Z-plasty flap-tip refinement during scar-revision surgery.
