23 cm TC Nelson at deep-hypothermic-circulatory-arrest (DHCA) cardiac surgery — Type-A aortic-dissection emergency repair, complex aortic-arch reconstruction, and pulmonary-thromboendarterectomy procedures conducted under DHCA. The carbide-edge cuts through cold-stiffened tissue at 18°C without the dulling that plain stainless suffers.
