Pattern: PARTSCH. Family: Chisel. Blade 2 mm, overall length 170 mm.
Designed by Hermann Partsch (1855–1932, Breslau), this pattern is used for oral and maxillofacial surgery — originally for cystectomy and apicoectomy work; still preferred for jaw cortex splitting and alveolar ridge shaping. slim bevel with a shallow curve, ground to take a light mallet tap rather than heavy percussion.
Built on our floor in Sialkot from AISI 420 forging blanks, milled to the original German geometry, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated. The instrument carries laser-mark BS 14-227-01, ships with a CE Declaration of Conformity, and is cleared for steam sterilisation at 134 °C.
