The PARTSCH chisel is named after Hermann Partsch (1855–1932, Breslau). Its design is used for oral and maxillofacial surgery — originally for cystectomy and apicoectomy work; still preferred for jaw cortex splitting and alveolar ridge shaping. Blade 4 mm, overall length 170 mm.
Our version is forged from AISI 420 German-grade stainless, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated to ASTM A967. slim bevel with a shallow curve, ground to take a light mallet tap rather than heavy percussion. Packed individually, laser-marked with our SKU BS 14-227-03 and ready for steam sterilisation at 134 °C / 18 min.
