Schroeder Vulsellum — Berlin Modern-Gynaecology
Karl Schroeder (1838–1887) Berlin-Charité and-Erlangen pioneer of modern gynaecology (authored “Handbuch-der-Krankheiten-der-weiblichen Geschlechtsorgane” 1874), designed the Schroeder vulsellum-multi-tooth-cervical-tenaculum for hysterectomy traction. The Schroeder handles open and abdominal-hysterectomy traction — total-abdominal-hysterectomy TAH uterine-traction during open-extra-fascial-hysterectomy for benign-fibroid-uterus with cervical-and-uterine-grasp, vaginal-hysterectomy VH cervical-traction with-vulsellum-multi-tooth-purchase for large-uterus prolapse-repair, and supracervical-or-subtotal-hysterectomy STH with cervical-stump preservation during laparoscopic-converted-to-open.
