The SMITH-PETERSEN osteotome is named after Marius Smith-Petersen (1886–1953). Its design is used for hip arthroplasty and femoral neck work; the curved variants are the classical choice for femoral head preparation. Blade 19 mm, overall length 200 mm.

Our version is forged from AISI 420 German-grade stainless, hardened to 52–54 HRC and passivated to ASTM A967. curved or straight bevel, broad blade, built for hip cortex. Packed individually, laser-marked with our SKU BS 14-255-05 and ready for steam sterilisation at 134 °C / 18 min.
