Standard Kocher Tissue Forceps 300mm (30cm) Teeth 3×4
Premium tissue forceps with triple-tooth (3×4) pattern providing maximum grip for thick tissue, fascia, and cartilage handling where slip resistance is critical. The Kocher-pattern interlocking teeth provide a positive, non-slip grip on tissue during surgical manipulation, retraction, and suturing. Extra-long reach for deep cavity work in thoracic, abdominal, and bariatric surgery.
Design & Function
The toothed tissue forceps design allows surgeons to grasp and manipulate tissue with one hand while suturing or cutting with the other. Unlike smooth dressing forceps, the interlocking teeth prevent tissue slippage — essential when handling skin edges during closure, manipulating fascia, or retracting tissue for exposure.
Clinical Applications
- Skin edge eversion during wound closure
- Tissue retraction and manipulation
- Fascial layer handling in layered closures
- Suture assistance — holding tissue while needle passes
- Specimen handling and orientation
