Terrier 8.5 cm — French Fine Surface
Louis-Félix Terrier (1837–1908), Paris Hôpital-Bichat surgical chief and pioneer of antiseptic technique in France, developed this short fine French hemostat. The 8.5 cm Terrier handles surface-and-superficial-French-pattern fine work — facial-nerve VII branch dissection bleeder-grasp during cosmetic-rhytidectomy SMAS-flap elevation, dermal-vessel haemostasis during plastic-surgery W-plasty scar revision, and superficial-hand finger-pulp dissection in trigger-finger A1-pulley release. Short fine Terrier.
