The DeBakey “different angles” pattern is the multi-instrument vascular-set reference, supplied to theatre as a packaged angle-stepped run from the Houston tradition. Sets typically include 25°/45°/60°/90° at matched lengths so the surgeon can switch angle without changing length. Use cases: thoracoabdominal-aneurysm Crawford-style repair where multiple anastomoses span the visceral patch, total-arch reconstruction with multi-vessel branched-graft, and aortic-dissection re-do where the angle-needed varies per re-entry.
