The Macintosh fiber optic laryngoscope blade is the curved blade used for indirect laryngoscopy: the tip sits in the vallecula and lifting the handle raises the epiglottis. Fizza Surgical makes it in seven sizes, 00 to 5, under catalogue references DI-205-01 to DI-205-07. The light conductor comes out without tools for cleaning, and every size fits a fiber optic handle with the ISO 7376 fitting.
