Heymann Nasal — German Rhinology Pattern
Robert Heymann, the German rhinologist of the Berlin school, lent his name to the heavier-shanked nasal scissor for tougher septoplasty-bone work — bony-septal-deviation correction with Heymann’s heavier blade preferred over slim Cottle, ethmoid-perpendicular-plate division through anterior approach, and turbinate-bone partial-removal during inferior-turbinate hypertrophy surgery. German bony-nasal.
